2. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator
- The places where you log in and enter personal data are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). Thanks to this, personal data and login data entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.
- Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator with the key can read it. Thanks to this, the data is protected in the event of the database being stolen from the server.
- User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hash function works one-way – it is not possible to reverse its operation, which is currently the modern standard for storing user passwords.
- The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
- An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of programming components.
3. Hosting
- The website is hosted (technically maintained) on the operator’s servers using: dhosting
- In order to ensure technical reliability, the hosting company keeps logs at the server level. The following may be recorded:
- resources specified by the URL identifier (addresses of requested resources – pages, files),
- the time of arrival of the request,
- the time of sending the response,
- the name of the client station – identification performed via the HTTP protocol,
- information about errors that occurred during the execution of the HTTP transaction,
- URL address of the page previously visited by the user (referrer link) – in the case where the Website was accessed via a link,
- information about the user’s browser,
- IP address information,
- diagnostic information related to the process of self-ordering services via the registers on the website,
- information related to the handling of e-mail addressed to the Operator and sent by the Operator.
4. Your rights and additional information on how your data is used
- In some situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if such data processing may be necessary for the performance of a contract concluded with you or to fulfil the obligations incumbent on the Administrator. This applies to such groups of recipients:
- authorised employees and associates who use the data to achieve the purpose of the website.
- authorized employees and associates who use the data for the purpose of ensuring functionality and operations of the website.
- Your personal data may be processed by the Administrator for no longer than necessary to perform the activities related to them specified in separate regulations (e.g. on accounting). In relation to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
- You have the right to request from the Administrator:
- access to personal data concerning you,
- rectification of any such personal data,
- removal of personal data,
- request restrictions on the processing of your personal data
- and regarding any transfer of your personal data.
- You have the right to object to the processing indicated in point 3.2, regarding the processing of personal data for the purpose of pursuing legally justified interests or lawful reasons pursued by the Administrator, including profiling, the right to object cannot be exercised if there are valid legally justified grounds (lawful reasons) for processing, overriding interests, rights and freedoms towards you, in particular the determination, pursuit or defence of claims.
- A complaint regarding the Administrator’s actions may be lodged through a Data Protection Authority (DPA) in your country or directly in Poland with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
- Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to operate the service as described herein.
- You may be subject to an automated decision-making, including profiling, for the purpose of providing services under the concluded contract (necessary for the performance of that contract) and for the purpose of conducting direct marketing by the Administrator.
- Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of the provisions on the protection of personal data. This means that we do not send it outside of the EEA (European Economic Area).
5. Information in forms
- The website collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if provided.
- The service may save information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
- In some cases, the service may save information that facilitates linking of the data in the form with the email address of the user filling out the form. In such cases, the user’s email address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form.
- The data provided in the form are processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a specific form, e.g. to process a service request or sales contact, register services, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly informs what it is used for.
6. Administrator logs
- Information about the behaviour of users on the site may be subject to logging. This data is used to administer the site.
7. Important marketing techniques
- The operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic through Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The operator does not transfer personal data to the operator of this service, but only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. In terms of information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

- The website uses cookies.
- Cookies are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored in the end device of the Service User and are intended for using the websites of the Service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time of their storage on the end device and a unique number.
- The entity that places cookies on the end device of the User of the Website and obtains access to them is the Website operator.

- maintaining the Service user’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service;

- Cookies placed on the end device of the Website User may also be used by entities cooperating with the Website operator, in particular the following companies: Google (Google Inc. based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc. based in the USA).
9. Cookie management – how to express and withdraw consent in practice?
What are cookies? Cookies are small files that are saved and stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone while you visit various websites on the Internet. A cookie usually contains the name of the website from which it comes, the “lifespan” of the cookie (i.e. how long it exists), and a randomly generated unique number used to identify the browser from which the website is connected.
- In connection with providing access to our site and its content, the MIFLEX Solutions website (www.miflexsolutions.com), uses cookies, i.e. information saved by servers on the user’s end device, which servers can read each time the end device connects, and may also use other technologies with functions similar or identical to cookies. In this document, information on cookies also applies to other similar technologies used within our websites. Cookies (so-called “cookies”) are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the user of the MIFLEX Solutions website. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain of the website from which they originate, the time of their storage on the end device and a unique number.

- MIFLEX Solutions may use the following types of cookies when accessing its website and content:
